I ended up with black. All of my things fit in it with room to spare, so this thing definitely has a lot of space. It has all kinds of zippers and pockets to stash things and the place where you actually put the system is a kind of "hidden" compartment that's pretty cool. I would have been fine with any color, so that didn't matter to me much and I ordered anyway. It's a great case that holds all of my games plus my DS "phat" (i.e. an original DS). Of course, as mentioned in the other reviews, the color shipped to you is random.
Functionally, it's a great case. Mine will go on eBay. I also received pink for my nine year old boy. The customer service rep told me I could return it, but because I bought mine in advance (and didn't open it so as not to blow the surprise) I had already missed the deadline for returns. Seems like inspite of the "possible" colors available, the only actual color may have been pink.
The only defect that i see, is that the plastic is delicate, my 9 yers old daughter break it a little with a small fall. It's a real nice equipment, portable, light, easy to use. I know that any equipment that falls can broke, but, due to the fact that this is a child's game/toy it should be more resistant.
At the time of writing this review, you can't even buy it from amazon, but just go to Circuit City and you can get one, and you can even choose what color you want. I would definitely recommend this case. I really don't think that I need to go into the details of the case, as many people already have, but it does hold everything I need to put in it, and there's actually extra room. That's where I bought mine.
It has nine slots for nine DS games. If you want to get this case you shoud because it is the best. It has three pockets for DS stuff. It was the best game case ever. I read the reviews saying that they got a pink case. I bought this case yesterday. I got a black one. It has a secret pocket for your DS or DS lite.
